Welcome to Mrs. Lang’s Blog for 4th Hour Online Experience B class. We’ll be using this site for teacher-to-student communication as well as student-to-student communication. My goal is to do one journal a week. The blog will be posted on Monday and you have until Friday to complete the questions/comments on the blog by leaving a comment. You will also be required to read other students' comments and respond to a minimum of two.
Many of you may have your own personal blogs on MySpace or similar sites. For those of you who have never used a blog, this will give you some experience. Before we get started we’ll have to set some ground rules. First of all, all postings to this site must use school appropriate language. When you post, write in complete grammatically correct sentences. When commenting on another student’s post, keep your comments non-personal. You can agree or disagree with a comment but refrain from sarcasm and/or put-downs. State your position on the issue at hand and why you feel that way.
This week's topics is "Dream for the Future". What are your dreams for your future? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What does your life look like? Are you married? Do you have children? What is your occupation? What do you do for fun?

My dreams for the future are to get a degree, and become a forensic scientist. In ten years I see myself as a forensic scientist with a wife, 2 kids, and a French bulldog and I play football with my friends and my son.. My life looks like a middle class life, and I think that that is a good life.

ReplyDeleteMy dream in 10 years is having a nice laid back desk job programming on something really important like the newest halo game. But I don’t think I will have any kids. And probably not much exercise. But by then I will be trying to get a newer better degree.
ReplyDeleteAnd I will be happy that way.

My dreams for the future are to leave Michigan and move somewhere very, very far away. Perhaps to Canada or Nebraska or Denmark. It’s not that I hate Michigan and the people in it or anything; I just want to see everything before I get old and die. My life is large, I have friends and a dog just like a normal person. I’ll probably be really poor because I had to pay for college and my non-profit job pays little. I may or may not be married. Marriage just seems to tie a person down. And I am against that. I’ll be consistently inconsistent, moving around a lot and not staying in one place. I’ll probably have a boyfriend. If I’m lucky he’ll be in a band or have a cool job. I’ll travel a lot with him and see museums and go swimming. I’ll only be twenty-five. The average life is now something like eighty or ninety, so I won’t even be half over with it. I will live my life on a whim.

My dream for the future is to go to the university of Ohio State. In 10 years I see myself married with either one or no kids. I also want to work as either a police officer, or a doctor. For fun I would just stay out late with friends, go to basketball games, and I guess enjoy whatever else happens in life.

My dreams for the future in ten years, I would like to be married, and have at least one child. I would like to have gotten my college degree as an art teacher and minor in art history. I would like to have a two story house in a nice neighborhood. I would like to be able to spend part of my day in a quiet little home office painting and studying the human figure. I want my family to be small and happy.

In 10 years I see myself being in a residency or internship program at a hospital, and still being in school. I believe that my life looks successful or on the path to being successful. I do see myself married and having a home, but I don’t see myself having children quite yet, I would like to establish myself and have a good income before having children. For fun I would spend time with my friends on the weekends or in my free time.

Also I will have a puppy named Rascoe, for fun I will take my kids and puppy to the park. I will have a middle class life; I think I will have a pretty good life.

My dreams for the future are to go to college and become a veteran. In the future I see myself as a mom of two a boy and a girl. Married and working as a vet and working on owning my own veterinarian business. I see myself with a good husband and raising our kids as best as we can. I see myself having a nice house with a big back yard for the kids to play in, and for fun I see me and my husband taking the kids to the park or going on vacation during the summer.

In the future, I hope to be finished with college or any other education I would need for my job. I would probably move away from Bedford to find a job. I don’t think I would be married or have kids yet, but I would be living on my own and hopefully have a full time job. I would also stay in touch with my friends and visit them as often as i can.

ReplyDeleteI think your life will be a good one, good luck with it :)
I see myself married to the love of my life, and have a kid on the way in about 10 years, because I would be 26 years old. And I want to be a young mother. I could see myself having a belcher’s degree and being a therapist making tons on money, and living in a big house in California. My dreams are to be rich and still be hot. Have a kid that looks like me. I hate Michigan I want to leave as soon as I get engaged:]

Ten years from now I really want to have my life already started. I eventually want to be a pediatrician, have one kid, and have a husband. I want to live in my own house and be very independent. I hope that I have the same friends as I do now, but there are no guarantees. For fun I am a photographer, and take many different types of photos. I really like nature and animals. I really hope that my life turns out the way that I want it too.

ReplyDeleteMy dreams for the future are to become successful in my career; to possibly become an Artist and/or a book writer. I haven’t put much thought in what my life would be like in ten years; but, I no going to college is in my future. I could kind of see myself being married in those years. I could also see myself as an artist or a book writer in ten years.

Ten years from now I hope to have completed college with a degree to be a high school science teacher or a pediatric oncologist, I haven't decided yet. I hope to have a husband and 3 kids. I will travel with my family all over the US, like my parents do with my brothers and I. For fun I will go camping with the family, and on my free time, hang out with friends. I hope my life turns out like this.

ReplyDeleteYour life already has started, even if you can't drive or do not have a job. If you want to take pictures of animals you might want to live in San Fransisco, the zoo there is SWEET and there are tons of animals. Also the city is always a great place to be a pediatrician. Great plan though, very detailed.
EMILY
ReplyDeleteI could see you being a high school science teacher, and I could see you being a pediatric oncologist [if I knew what that meant]. Maybe your husband could be that hot kid in our lunch and the three kids would be really pretty too. As for traveling around the U.S. you could visit me too! Wherever I am. Good plans. Extremely articulate.
My dreams for the future is to graduate from the the University of Michigan State. With some kind of medical degree to be a nurse. In 10 years, I'll be 24, and unless I'm married, I do not think I will have any children yet.
ReplyDeleteLeigh I think I willcome and visit you in Denmark : ]
