i think the most useful is to be yourself i mean its really easy to do something just because people want you to be that person people lie to get friends and everything. i have encountered a lot on the internet and i have changed to make someone happy online.

The most useful advice is read between the "lines." People are going to lie to you in order to get whtat they want. They will tell you whatever you want to hear, so it is important to read between the lines and not fall for it. I have encountered a few things on the internet, like people have talked to me and I have no idea who they are, but that is about it.

The piece of advice that I think is useful are to be yourself online, don’t try to be someone your not, because people will like for who you are. Also, another good piece of advice is to avoid in person meetings, the reason: you don’t know if they were lying about who they are, or if they just want to kidnap you. I haven’t really encountered anything like that on the internet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if I did, with this kind of day and age.

I think the most useful information is to be yourself online and not try to impress people. - Tanner DuVall
ReplyDeleteTo not believe what a person says. Especially if you don't know them very well. Especially people you meet on the internet. Because people on the internet pretend to be someone they're not. The police catch pervs everyday on the internet. Just remember don't believe everything you hear.

Dont beleive what anyone tells you on-line. Unless you know the person, don't tell them anything personal or private. You don't know who is behind the screen, and dont let them find out who you are :)

I dont beleive what people say anymore because in the internet not everything is true, but they are not all bad. One time when i was on my email there was a guy that was stalking, it was making me so mad, and it endedup being my friend ethan he was just messing around with me, but still the biggest thing is not to trust anyone on the internet.

Most useful advice as everyone says is to be yourself. Dont have person to person meetings because you dont knnow what that person is like, and dont give out personal information. BUt in all still be your self.

ReplyDeleteI think the most useful tip is Be your own person, because if your not yourself on the internet you may be some one who changes around ever one who they are around and you most likly are gonna be someone who is easy to talk into doing something.

The most useful tip definitely is to be very aware of what you post, because once you post it you may regret it and you don’t know who has already seen it before you remove it and people can use this information against you especially people that you may consider enemies or ex-friends. No, I haven’t encountered this online, because I don’t go onto social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook.
